| Our Commitment - Completion 2012 |
|
The word “commitment” is defined by Webster’s dictionary as “assurance” or “obligation”. At Punta Bocana we take these words very seriously indeed. While many projects in Latin America sell first and build later, we took the opposite tack, spending over $35 million dollars of our own resources in permits, planning, and construction costs during one of the most dramatic global finance crises in modern history.
We have exceeded all international standards and codes with 30-90 foot deep foundations, double I-beam steel construction, 10-inch thick floors for super stability and quiet. In short, we have created the new benchmark for quality for all of Costa Rica. While many developers focus their spending in the initial stages of any project on more glamorous and visible structures, we have chosen to build roads, underground electric lines, fiber optic cable, potable water wells, and wastewater treatment facilities. Due to our parent company’s myriad construction projects all over Costa Rica, we are in the unique position of utilizing our own earth-movers, cranes, and heavy machinery, without having to subcontract these vital services. Why? Because we have an unremitting devotion to keeping our word to the future residents of our amazing community; because we have a commitment to our owners to perform common tasks in an uncommon way; because we simply don’t know how to conduct business in any other way. |
